i am outraged

i always hate the "before and after" advertisements that are about 1" in size on 1/4 the websites out there running all up and down the left and right sides, but this one really gets my gun. for the "larger" image, the person looks really good!!! if someone looks like this, they shouldn't feel they have to change themselves. and of course the ad has all the "read my story that was on cnn because a skinny population is their #1 priority." what the fuck is this advertisement trying to do to people. mindfuck them, that's what.

and to top it off, i'm pretty sure the image is from the Dove ad campaign, ya'll know what i'm talking about, the ones in which they have larger women looking really smashing, their facial expressions telling you they're mucho happy with their bodz. well, in this ad, the head is cut off. but still, i'd rather check out the boodilicious femme on the left than the ffffffff bro enabler on the right. anyday.

learning japanese on the internets! it's actually going really well. their videos seem pretty boy bandy and cheesy at times. they don't say i love you, but if they did, Ai Shiteru. Watashiwa Rose des. Arigatou gozaimasu. Onaka ippai. Ashita no tenki wa. Oyasumi nasai. Tonight is the last night that i'm staying in the apt. : C i have extra food to bring to my dorm room! and i'll be bringing a lot of sandwiches to shaws/ buying yogurts. milk in the fridge, cereal! Nadia is in a super bad mood. I'm eating Newman-O's. humorous fact: i got out my latin notebook to study and ended up practicing Hiragana characters in it. It's My Favorite Day of the Year!

That was the most obvious title. i love my bday, no fail, every year. December 27th!!! i have 720 facebook friends, and i like to see who of them remembers to write something on the wall. in a way, facebook is a horrible thing, but it's The mode of communication. My friend Katie got a facebook for the first time about 4 days ago, it was a big deal. My favorite thing this christmas was that my brother taught me how to complete a Rubik's Cube. it is damn complicated.

Today, for once, changing ages DOES feel different. It's like someone tossed me into the realm of 20-something's.

REPETITION is wonderful--gaga analysis

i watch/experience lady gaga's Bad Romance video over and over and over

i'm obviously attracted to the light moving across the walls at the beginning, and her freeeak!!! i'm proud of her creativity and audacity you go ga ga.

it's an interesting mix between
-her being controlled/sold and owning it
-her covering herself up and resisting/dancing confidently like she's hawt
-weakness/admirable amounts of energy.
the crying parts are a good contrast but irritate me. the outfits look GOOD and there are so many and they are pretty complex! the story line makes more sense after a few views; it's nice that it's not obvious and that the end is not exactly like the beginning.
